| Reunion Golf Update |
Golf is scheduled to begin at 13:30 on Friday, October on the MCAS Cherry Point “Sound of Freedom Course”, a par 72 course. The reunion group tournament will be played from the white tees (6,650 yards) with individual starting times at 5 minute intervals. Tournament scoring will be revised for the ladies playing this year (maximum stroke count will be 5 on Par 3s and 7 on Par 5s). Gift certificates, redeemable in the pro shop, will be awarded for:
• Longest drive (Man/Woman)
• Closest to the pin (Man/Woman)
• Fewest putts (1)
• Low net (1)
Logistical considerations:

• Rental clubs available at $7.00 (Only 6 women sets call Clubhouse to reserve call 252-466-3044)
• Send your handicap or average score to Greg Stockstill, Golf Chairman, at gregstockstill@comcast.net
• Send your playing partner preferences to Greg by September 15th
• A cocktail party with heavy hors d’oeuvres in a private room at the Officer's Club will follow play, where prizes will be awarded
